Giving without a guilty conscience? Like a banana peel, our wrapping papers are 100% organic waste or compostable after peeling/unwrapping. The supply chain of our wrapping papers relies 100% on regionality. From the grass fibers of the Swabian alps to the paper mill near Stuttgart to the climate-neutral eco-printing plant in Reinheim and to the storage room in Frankfurt, travel distances are as short as possible. As a result, our carbon footprint is significantly better than papers whose ingredients are shipped together from all corners of the world and which are mostly packaged in plastic. In addition, these papers are often printed with glossy and toxic inks, so they cannot be composted and are also very difficult/unrecyclable. The result: they end up in the residual waste. With us, all inks are plant based instead of mineral oil based and the printing is climate neutral and without the use of isopropyl alcohol. Our supply chain is 100% plastic-free, so we don't produce any waste that can't be turned back into CO2-neutral soil. For every roll of wrapping paper sold, we also donate a tree to a social project in Nepal, contributing to the reforestation of the rainforest there.
